Come Stay with Us

Our House is a home-away-from-home where families can stay close, close to the care and resources they need, close to each other, and close to their child while they are in the hospital. We provide an inviting resting place for families that need to stay overnight, as well as the Ronald McDonald Family Room on the 14th floor of Carilion Children's Hospital for those who need a break without leaving the hospital.

Volunteer

Your gifts and talents can make a big difference – whether volunteering as an individual or with a group, coming on a regular basis, or as you can. Volunteers who dedicate their time, talent and resources help offset costs and allow us to direct more back to supporting children and their families. On behalf of our families, we say, ‘thanks’ and invite you to find your own volunteer opportunity.

When you have a sick child, you have a sick family– Dr. Audrey Evans

Families are stronger when they are together, and this is never more important than when a child is in the hospital. By offering families a home-away-from-home just 2 ½ blocks from the hospital, we increase a family's ability to spend more time with their child, and participate in their medical care. But we can’t do it without you!
