We take our donors’ money very seriously. As an independent 501(c)3, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Virginia is proud to be a part of Ronald McDonald House Charities, a Charity Navigator Four Star Charity based on financial performance metrics and accountability. We celebrate our donors in our Annual Reports, special ceremonies, and an occasional call just to say thank you.
In 2022, Ronald McDonald House Charities celebrated 38 years of keeping families close, thanks to our donors. These special and very thoughtful gifts are investments in our future. They allow us to serve more families and ensure our continued financial stability. They are also an inspirational expression of what is most important to you and what you hold near and dear to your heart.
Providing an environment of love, community, and hope to families of seriously ill children isn’t something we do by ourselves. We need the entire community to come together to help neighbors in need today and support programs that will lessen the burden in the future.
Choose a way to give that works for you, and know that you are helping create happy, healthy and more stable lives. However, you choose to offer support, you make a difference.

The House provides sick children, especially babies, and their parents and loved ones the ability to be able to be close to the hospital so someone can be with their child to provide love, attention, and comfort and to be up to date on their child’s medical condition and to talk to the child’s doctors and nurses."
