As an independent 501c3, we are responsible for raising our funds. For Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Virginia that means over $1,300,000 each year. Your donation gives families a home-away-from-home when they need it the most! Most of our donations come from generous individuals, corporate and community/civic groups! We are also thankful for the incredible support we receive through grants.
Staying at a Ronald McDonald House is not based on family income. Donations are welcome, but no one is ever turned away because of inability to pay. Most of our funds come from monetary contributions and fundraising efforts. We also accept in-kind contributions and help from volunteers.
