March 27, 2024 – Told by Kamden’s mom, Krystal
Kamden Osley was born at 23 weeks. She was a micro preemie. She weighed 1lb and 4oz at birth. Kamden spent 96 days in the NICU during that time she had a blood infection, several blood transfusions, and heart surgery. Kamden had heart surgery before she was a month old. She had to overcome so many obstacles before she was released. She left the hospital on oxygen and a monitor.
While her stay in the hospital was VERY long and stressful, Ronald McDonald House made it so much easier. I was blessed to stay in the Ronald McDonald House for 95 nights and I was able to visit her every day! I am so thankful for the Ronald McDonald House!! Kamden is now a healthy 9-year-old who loves school, loves to play sports and loves spending time with her family! She wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up! She is our miracle baby!
