Shine a Light, Share a Night is the perfect way to pay tribute to a loved one knowing you are helping families stay close to their critically sick or injured child. People like Makayla and Steven Lester who at just 24 weeks pregnant had to deliver their twin boys due to life threatening complications. Their journey would be one of over seven months that Makayla describes as, “An answered prayer came along in the name of The Ronald McDonald House”.
You shine a light into a family’s darkest day when you honor a loved one by making a donation to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Virginia. With this special gift, they receive a handwritten card highlighting a Ronald McDonald Family letting them know that because of you a light is shining brightly on our tree this holiday season for them.
You and your recipient are invited to join us for our annual Tree Lighting Ceremony where we will hear from our family, light the tree, and spend the evening socializing over refreshments.
Hope truly does shines through because of you when families like the Lester’s tell us: “This home made it possible for our family to be close.”
