Lights of Hope

Be a Light Of Hope For Families At The House This Holiday Season!

Ronald McDonald House Charities helps ease the burden for families who must seek medical care far from home for their child. The Ronald McDonald House is a beacon of light for families because they are able to stay together and near the medical care they need.  You have an opportunity to be a light of hope and love to families staying at Ronald McDonald House throughout ‘Lights of Hope’ campaign.

The cost of what we do is quite high, and although a $15.00 per day donation to offset the cost of their room is appreciated, we do not charge families to stay with us.

About Lights of Hope

Be a light of hope for families staying at RMHC-SWVA.  By shining a Light of Hope on our grand tree on the front lawn of the Ronald McDonald House in honor of a loved one and your donation shares the cost of Keeping Families Close when they need it the most.

We are excited to bring back our Tree Lighting Ceremony in person this year on Sunday, December 4th on the front lawn of our Ronald McDonald House. We will also provide a live feed our Facebook Page HERE for those unable to join us in person.

Our festive lights and our Lights of Hope tree will be on display starting December 5th – January 1st.

Shine a Light of Hope for a family at the Ronald McDonald House by:

  • Choosing an amount you wish to donate & method of payment
  • Providing Honoree’s name & address and special message you would like for us to convey
  • We invite you and your recipient to join us December 4th for our Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony

Please help us continue this important work by considering a Donation In Honor or In Memory of a loved one. An acknowledgement letter recognizing your kindness will be sent from RMHC-SWVA to the person you wish to honor.
