Handwritten dedication of quilt:

Glimmer of Hope Quilt

Facebook auction opens Saturday, May 4th at 3:35 pm and closes Sunday, May 5th, at 3:35pm.  On display at the Ronald McDonald House.

Pieced and quilted by Roanoke Modern Quilt Guild for the Ronald McDonald House.
The “Glimmer of Hope Quilt” is an original modern design inspired by the Roanoke Star on Mill Mountain. It was made by members of the Roanoke Modern Quilt Guild. The technique used was paper piecing. It has design elements of minimalism, exaggerated scale, and cropping. This quilt has been exhibited at the National Modern Quilt Guild, QuiltCon, in Nashville, Tennessee and also at a local quilt show. The name reflects the sentiment, that whatever challenges or adversities we as human beings face, we all deserves at least a glimmer of hope!
