When you pull a tab top from a soda can, you are pulling for the families of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Virginia. The funds we get from recycling tab tops goes to help support our operating budget. Collect from your friends, coworkers, and school and bring us your tabs.

Change can be life changing. Whether you’re dropping change in a donation box at one of our area McDonald’s or filling up a jar at home, it all adds up when it comes to keeping families close.

Cooking a meal is one of the most important ways you can help our families. Prepare a meal in our kitchen and serve our families between 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. after they return from a long day at the hospital.

We’re often asked, “Is there anything my kids can do to help?” The answer is YES! We welcome help from schools, scouts, and sports teams. We love the energy and excitement that comes from kids helping kids. Parents must accompany children under 16 volunteering at the House.

You know what goes with everything? A pair of RMHC red and white striped socks! They’re warm and they make a powerful fashion statement, “I help families stay close when their kids need it the most”.

When you donate your vehicle, you provide rest, food, and hospitality for a family of a hospitalized child at RMHC of Southwest Virginia. Rusted or running, there’s no better way to get rid of an old car, truck or SUV than donating it to charity.
