Volunteer
Volunteers are the heart and soul of the Ronald McDonald House and the Ronald McDonald Family Room. We depend on our volunteers to keep the House and Family Room running smoothly by helping in various ways.
Ronald McDonald House Volunteer Program
House Volunteers help by providing assistance with the daily operations of the House which include but are not limited to vacuuming, dusting, putting donations away, organizing storage areas, and filling supplies. Other activities include yard work, raking leaves, cooking meals for the guests, baking, and collecting items on our wish list. Some volunteers also help with fundraisers and small projects around the House.
House volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. We have one-time volunteer opportunities in addition to flexible hours available for those interested in becoming regular volunteers. All regular volunteers must complete an application and tour of the House as part of the orientation process.
Group and Family Opportunities are also available throughout the year. Contact Shannon Boothe, Director of House Operations, for more information.
